i have been enjoying the zen of peeling pomegranates-i missed the lychee nuts this year(damn.) then again all those ads on virgin broadband are right-the planet's warming Fast. 2 bowls are sitting on my counter gathering a leak that sprung as we are having a pineapple express rolling through causing massive flooding&land erosion. what genius let them build on floodPlains & obvious unstable land? i don't get?? as in all my entries i was baffled for a very brief moment what i was going to write; my choices have expanded since becoming an ex-pat of a team that has left me speechless. i am not here to discuss running of rouge companies; life is too short toWaste worldwideweb on such people. rather i am going to write about what has bothered me for Years. check your local store-or if you have a TV check out what's being sold 7 weeks in advance-an old acquaintance of mine said "we don't make any money on Thanksgiving." i noticed a few weeks back when i came into my favorite coffee house & they already had eggnog latte's Before Thanksgiving. watching marketing companies coughing snow themes in early november-one of the reasons why the holidays & their meaning are dying every year. maybe, it's the fact that we are becoming uber-Materialistic.
gotta have it-Now--majority of the population has between $10,000 & $40,000 in unpaid debt. (back to zen feeling of peeling pomegranates& rainless day!)
i am happy as soon to be voting democrat to say that we Finally have the house and senate back; only taking a senseless war, incompetent runsafield to run into the ground. both parties have this keen ability to Over-Spend in this unflattering way-our gdp is going down& first time we're in debt with china. Yep. special. since runafield, finally SteppedDown we're all hoping that we will leave Iraq-to that i say on a cold in Alaska as it's always Cold there & it will not happen for @ least 2 years or more.
i do love Thanksgiving-maybe it's because Turkey is easier than unrealistic expectations @ Christmas. every-year i am ThankFul for the small things.
as for dating-the jury is still out-i met another pua last night & can safetly say that lines does not make you a stud in bed(a near fling-not quite though.)
